Amanda Tovey
Head of Avellemy Private Wealth
Amanda joined Avellemy in May 2024 as Head of Avellemy Private Wealth.
She joined the asset management industry in 2002 starting her career as a performance analyst at Alliance Bernstein, before moving into a portfolio management role at Gerrard (latterly Barclays Wealth) where she was responsible for the management of a range of Private client, trust and charity portfolios. In 2012 she joined Whitechurch Securities Ltd where she worked as an investment manager on bespoke client portfolios, before designing and launching the ethical range of portfolios in 2016, becoming the company’s Investment Director in 2019.
Amanda graduated from Exeter University with an MA in Finance and Investment, and holds the CFA Institute’s Investment Management Certificate, the Securities and Investment Institute Diploma, the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing and the Chartered Bankers Institute Certificate in Climate Risk.
