David Morcher

Head of Investment Solutions

David joined Avellemy in early 2023 as the head of collectives research, with responsibility for the research undertaken on investments used within the Avellemy MPS and Fund range. He and his team are also responsible for the management of these products and David is a member of the Avellemy investment committee.

With over 18 years’ experience in the financial services industry, David joined Avellemy from Saunderson House where he was a senior member of the firm’s investment team, a voting member on the investment committee and responsible for heading fixed income collectives research. Prior to this he spent almost 8 years at Abrdn, most latterly as an investment analyst responsible for fund research across various asset classes including equities, fixed income and real assets, having previously held a role within the Investment Risk function.

David graduated from Nottingham University with a degree in Mathematics with Engineering, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA), and a qualified Financial Risk Manager (FRM). He also holds the CFA Institute’s Investment Management Certificate and the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.
