Shoaib Akhtar

Collectives Analyst

Shoaib joined Avellemy as Collectives Analyst in March 2023, following the acquisition of Montage Portfolio Management by Avellemy, and is part of Avellemy’s in-house research team.

Prior to joining Avellemy, Shoaib worked at Montage Portfolio Management for two years where he was a member of the Investment Committee and was responsible for fund research and management of Discretionary Model Portfolios in accordance with an agreed mandate and asset allocation model.

Before joining Montage, Shoaib was a key member of KMD Private Wealth’s Investment Committee (an award-winning wealth manager) and worked very closely with the in-house Investment Manager for three years, predominantly involved in Investment fund research. Shoaib started his career in early 2016, providing administrative and technical support to award-winning national advice firms like Fairey Associates and IDFM(City) Ltd.

Shoaib graduated in Financial Services from Edinburgh Napier University. He is a CFA charterholder and also holds a CFA Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
